Originally from the West Coast, Sara relocated to Red Deer in 2023, where she and her family have become active members of the community. Her path into the world of counselling was born out of personal resilience; after a significant back injury prevented her from returning to her career as a Laboratory Technologist, Sara navigated her own journey of healing and transformation.
Life rarely follows the linear path we imagine. Sometimes, despite our best efforts, we find ourselves in spaces that feel heavy, confusing, or stagnant. Whether you’re navigating grief, life transitions, or simply feeling a sense of dissatisfaction you can’t quite name, you’re not alone. She believes grief touches every stage of life, not just in loss, but in change, growth, and unmet expectations. Together, you can explore what’s beneath the surface and work toward a version of you that feels grounded, empowered, and whole.
Counselling is designed to provide a compassionate, grounded space to explore those complexities and find a way forward that feels authentic to you. Sara is an eclectic therapist, pulling from many modalities to find the perfect blend that works best for you.
When she isn’t supporting clients, you can often find her exploring Red Deer’s extensive biking trails, enjoying summer river floats, or making the most of local ODRs in the winter. At home, she channels her creativity into the kitchen as a gluten-free chef and baker, keeping her busy family fueled and healthy.
