Shae was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Her interest in anatomy and desire to help others inspired her to pursue a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta.
Shae’s career in healthcare began as a Kinesiologist at a physiotherapy clinic, where she developed an evidence-based shoulder rehabilitation program, led exercise classes, and conducted concussion baseline testing for the Maple Leaf Athletic Club. Her experience also extends to sports therapy, having served as a Team Trainer with Hockey Super League, where she provided hands-on therapy to athletes both on and off the ice.
Shae is passionate about improving the quality of life for individuals of all ages and abilities, with special interests in pediatrics and women’s health. She empowers her clients through collaborative treatment planning, helping them achieve their health and wellness goals by creating personalized rehabilitation plans that address both immediate needs and long-term recovery.
Outside of work, Shae enjoys weightlifting, running, travelling with her fiancé, and soaking up all the cuddles from her two cats.
