What is compression?
Compression is the donning of a form-fitting garment around the leg. Compression should always be graduated; meaning it is strongest at the ankle and decreases as it moves up the leg. Compression stockings help to improve circulation, reduce swelling, prevent blood pooling throughout the day, and can help to relieve achy and fatigued legs.
