The goal of Pre and Perinatal massage is to promote a healthy pregnancy and delivery. Prenatal massage can be done at any time during your pregnancy as it is safe for both mother and baby.
Prenatal massage is great for expecting mothers who are experiencing low back pain, edema and swelling, pelvic discomfort, muscle tension and stress. Prenatal massage can be done both in side-lying supported by pillows or face down (prone) with a specialized pregnancy pillow that our clinic provides.
Post-natal massage is good to introduce in the weeks following delivery to assist with the healing process of the abdominals, the buildup of general tension, and the reduction of stress.
